Back home from Dragon*Con. Also sick. [PROFANITY EXPUNGED] No idea when I'm going to be up to playing again. I'll try to make it to voting this weekend, but no guarantees.

An update. Apologies in advance: emo cat is emo tonight.

* Work still sucks. \o/! Even on the okayish days like today, I come home drained and end up losing a couple hours to a nap that was only supposed to be a half-hour at best. And then my mood crashes and that's the rest of the night down the tubes too. So I really have no idea when you guys can expect to see me again. How bad is it that I literally cannot remember what not being tired feels like?

* Next Thursday I'm flying down to Atlanta for Dragon*Con with my beautiful girlfriend. unsarcastic \o/ this time! I will be taking my laptop, but I sincerely doubt I'll be logging in any time over the weekend. So this is a preemptive hiatus notice for 09/03 to 09/08.

* Since a few other people have been doing these, I'll make this a jump me / tell me who to jump post as well. If, you know, anyone cares at this point. Lately I've been feeling like I'm just keeping these characters away from someone who might, oh, play them and do them justice. (I'm not actually going to drop, I know I'd regret it. I guess it's just one of those nights.)

Mini-hiatus due to lack of energy and hating my job. I know I owe a lot of threads, like Death with Susan and Amaterasu, Link with Raikou and Midna, Setsuna with Bel, and so on, and I promise I will pick those threads up the instant my hiatus is up. I think I just need a day or two where I can tell myself "it's okay if you're not around right now". If anybody wants one of mine for anything, comment here and I'll tag in late once I'm back!

Folks, I do not have a hot cast. (I'm pretty certain Kyou would sweep the whole poll, although Link might have a slim shot at the title.) What I have is an adorable cast. SO!

My turn! I am going to do this quick and dirty, so I don't miss the bandwagon by a few days like I usually do. To that end, skipping the plans part! It'd just be a rehash of previous drop meme plans parts.

So I am not hiatusing for Otakon! I am, however, in the sixth week of an eight week summer class, as I mentioned earlier. So the course ends on the 30th, and apps are the 31st. This... is going to take some planning. The following list is partially for my own reference, partially for anyone who is curious!

Tomorrow: I will be studying for Thursday's test! I understand Ayame intends to intro, so Kyou will be around for that, and if Susan happens to show up somewhere Death will totally be there, but outside of that I'll be focusing on class work.

Thursday: I take the test! Once I'm done and get home, I will probably relax by putting up a post.

Next Week: No tests, so I can relax a bit. This will be where the main activity-gathering goes. Everybody but Miyako needs to be out lots (although I'm sure she'll sneak out for a few threads, knowing her).

29th: Activity needs to be in! \o/ That gives me 14 days-ish. I CAN TOTALLY DO THIS. TOTALLY.

30th: The fourth and final test in class. After that I am free! ...until fall semester. ...sobsob.

31st: Apps open at 6 PM sharp! If all has gone according to plan, I will be sending mine in at this time.

Sick! \o/ But I still have to drag myself to work tomorrow, because I can't afford to miss more than one day at a time, and then there's three hours of class after that. (For anyone who doesn't know, I have summer classes the next seven weeks, Tue and Thu from 6 PM to 9. We have a test every other week, orz.)

Hey, everyone! Just a quick note, not quite big enough for CFO. There are a few things I need to get done before I go on my trip, and I've been procrastinating on it due to new-character glee. So in the interest of actually getting those things accomplished, I'm calling hiatus a couple days early! I might be around Friday night if I've gotten everything finished, but don't count on it. (I also may be around a tiny bit Saturday, depending on wireless access during my trip.)

As a reminder, I'm going to be gone from May 21 to May 31! I'll be around and threading again either the 31st or June 1st. And when I get back, I'll happily pick up WALL-E's intropost threads for anyone who's still interested in them. (Especially those threads that I've been really slow on -- sorry about that!) ♥

Until I get back, most of my characters are transformed. Kyou is a plush cat; Setsuna is a plush white crow; Fuyuki is an Easter Island statue with an ahoge; Zelgadis is a pet rock with hair; and Miyako is one of those dancing flower animatronic toys. WALL-E has found the aforementioned items and is keeping them safe in his cooler. Death, as always, is off doing his deathly things.
